What it does
Saves the web page you are viewing as a PDF file.
Your data
The page you export is read on your computer to create the PDF. It is never sent anywhere, stored by the extension, or shared.
Types of data involved: Website content.
Permissions
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
debugger | Used to print the current tab to PDF with Chrome's built-in PDF engine (the DevTools Protocol command Page.printToPDF), and to scroll the page first so content that loads on scroll is included. It attaches only to the tab you export, only while the export runs. |
downloads | Used to save the finished PDF to your downloads. |
activeTab | Used to read the current tab's address when you open the popup, so it can tell you straight away if Chrome doesn't allow exporting that page (for example chrome:// pages). |
Remote code
No. All code is included in the extension package.
